What might cause us or you concerns?
· You might see or hear something happen that worries you
· We might see or hear something that concerns us
· Someone being bullied or intimidated or scammed
· Someone being made to feel frightened or sad
· Someone’s behaviour may change significantly
We have a duty of care to protect and safeguard vulnerable people from harm and abuse and will always act in the individual’s best interest. We work closely with the adult safeguarding team at Norfolk County Council and will consult them on any matters we are concerned about.
Important things to remember:
· Anyone can experience abuse
· Anyone may be a perpetrator of abuse
· Abuse may be a single or repeated act
· Abuse may be behaviour that deliberately or unknowingly causes harm, or endangers life or rights
· Abuse can take place in any setting/environment and at any time.
